In line with this new chapter, three long-term team members, Helena Volmer (in charge of operations and sales), Dr Andres Lasn (medical director) and Keir Volas (technology and product lead) join Liis as co-founders.

After 1,5 years of launching our new product, patient relationship and clinical data management platform, we have gained 28% market share in Estonia and earned high praise, an average 4,8/5 from our clients. This new financing round allows us to keep building the best product for doctors, nurses and patients and to expand to new markets.
We are excited to expand our Estonian portfolio with the addition of Certific. The outstanding team behind Certific, led by Liis, Helena, Andres, and Keir, brings deep expertise and a truly innovative approach to digital health solutions. They are tackling a critical challenge in the healthcare industry—reducing the documentation burden on clinicians—based on their first-hand experiences. We are proud to co-lead this round and support them in building another category-defining company from the Baltics.

I’m excited to join Certific as a co-founder and to help take this rocket ship to the next level and make the lives of patients and healthcare workers around the world a little bit easier,” explains Dr Andres Lasn, Medical Director and former family physician who is joining Certific as a co-founder.
The original co-founders Taavet Hinrikus and Jack Kreindler, have ended their tenure as operationally active co-founders but remain as advising investors in Certific.
Taavet Hinrikus says that healthtech as an industry is quite conservative and tough and Certific has seen its fair share of challenges along the way, including a radical pivot. “The current team has proven to be relentless in their goal of building radically better solutions for the healthcare industry and I’m excited to see the impact they are yet to make,” Taavet Hinrikus, initial co-founder and investor.
